Key experience: Project management in the public and private sector. Currently working for Queen Mary University London and the Princes Teaching Institute. Previous roles at The Royal Geographical Society with IBG, The Financial Skills Partnership and Comic Relief.
Key expertise: Managing complex projects; establishing and developing governance structures; leading change; managing difficult situations and relationships.
School governance: Governor/Trustee at Belleville Primary 2001 to 2016; Chair of Governors/Trustees from 2009 to 2016; Member of the Trust since 2011. Designated National Leader of Governance (NLG) in 2012 and has provided significant pro-bono support for many primary schools in London and the South East.

Hilary Clarke

Writer and editor, with a background in architecture and communications
Key experience: Parliamentary reporter for Hansard. Previously worked as head of communications, then head of corporate governance at the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment; and head of communications at the Royal Institute of British Architects. Co-writer and editor of a number of key publications including “Building Better Primary Schools.” Active experience as a parent governor and PTA chair.

Julian Coningham

Brian Ledbetter

Senior professional in global financial and business development
Key experience: Senior partner at McKinsey and Company, a global management consultancy firm, since 1999. Leads financial service practice and is also a leader in Business Technology. Works with large global financial institutions (FTSE 100 companies) to improve their performance. Formerly European product manager at a US software company.
Key expertise: Financial services; risk management; business development; operations; technology.

Dr Martin Young

Experienced academy trust leader
Key experience: Dr Young is the Chief Executive Officer and Federation Principal of the Park Federation, established in 2012. The Park Federation is a community-focused multi academy trust of eight primary schools in Hillingdon (west London) and Slough. Dr Young’s role as Chief Executive builds on many years as a highly successful headteacher.
