School governance: Governor/Trustee at Belleville Primary 2001 to 2016; Chair of Governors/Trustees from 2009 to 2016; Member of the Trust since 2011. Julian Coningham

Tom Gately

Key experience: Currently a freelance coach and a tutor on Belleville’s School Direct Initial Teacher Training Programme. Has undertaken school leadership improvement work within the London Challenge, the Leicester Challenge and individual schools across London and beyond. Highly regarded headteacher of the outstanding St Anselm’s Catholic Primary in Tooting from 1990 to 2008 and a headteacher in Fulham from 1983 to 1990.

Currently a tutor on Belleville’s School Direct programme, QA officer for Wandsworth Primary Consortium SCITT, and steering committee member/examiner for Southfields College EBITT. Professional chairman of the Montessori Enrolment and Award Board. Has written and published fifty books and is an active and committed researcher.

Brian Ledbetter

Key experience: Senior partner at McKinsey and Company, a global management consultancy firm, since 1999. Leads financial service practice and is also a leader in Business Technology. Works with large global financial institutions (FTSE 100 companies) to improve their performance. Formerly European product manager at a US software company.
